Welcome to the information page for local sporting clubs.

Here, you’ll find everything you need to know about booking sporting grounds, reporting maintenance issues, and accessing other essential services.

Whether you're planning an event, need to request repairs, or require general information, this page is your go-to resource for ensuring your club's needs are met efficiently and effectively. Explore the links below to get started!

Sports Field Closures

We aim to keep our sports facilities and fields open as much as possible to maximise use. But sometimes, we need to close sports fields for maintenance or during wet weather to minimise damages to the grounds and to eliminate safety risks.

The status of each field is updated at 2pm Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays. If a field is closed on a Friday or before a Public Holiday, it will stay closed until a follow up inspection can take place on the next working day.

Special Events

Are you planning a special event, such as a grand final, gala day, charity match, or any other event outside of regular training or matches? If your event will include food vendors, multiple marquees, a jumping castle, or amusement devices, you’ll need to obtain Section 68 approval. This booking must be made through our booking site and cannot be done under a general booking. Fees may apply as outlined in our Fees and Charges. Please ensure you log your event at least six weeks in advance to allow for processing.

To assist you in organising your event, we’ve created a comprehensive toolkit that includes all the necessary forms, templates, and guidelines you may need.

User Group Affiliation Form

Council frequently needs to communicate with Sporting Clubs and user groups that utilise Council managed facilities. To assist us in maintaining up-to-date contact information, please complete this form with the details of your incoming Club Committee members. We kindly request that you designate a single key contact for all sporting communications with Council. This will help ensure clear and consistent communication, as having multiple committee members contact Council can sometimes lead to miscommunication or information being overlooked.
