Urban growth management strategy (UGMS)

The Urban Growth Management Strategy (UGMS) is a guide for implementing economic and housing growth for the Port Macquarie-Hastings local government area. The strategy bridges regional and local planning and means land use and population growth will be managed to enhance the quality of life for the entire community.

State Environmental Planning Policies (SEPPs)

State Environmental Planning Policies (SEPPs) deal with issues that are of importance to the whole State. It is important to note that this does not necessarily mean that each SEPP will be of relevance to your DA.

Make sure to check the legislation to establish whether you have any site or project specific regulations at a State level to address and consider.
