We want to support our event organisers to host major events in our region.
We provide financial support through our Major Events Grant - up to $5,000 and our Quick Grants of up to $1,000, for events which attract visitors to our region.
There are two opportunities each year to apply for a Major Events Grant. The Quick Grant is open all year-round.

Funds received under the Major Events Grant are to be allocated towards event marketing activities which attract visitors to our region and your event. This could include activities such as:
Important note for sporting organisations, association, and clubs If you are a sporting organisation, association or club with a state governing body, grant money can be allocated to other expenses that relate to your event, for example trophies, portable toilets etc, as well as marketing activities. Please speak with us to confirm that your application will be classed as a sporting organisation before applying.
Funds received under the Quick Grant stream can be allocated towards any event-specific expenses. This could include activities such as:

You can save your application as you go, and come back to it if needed.
*Only required for Major Events Grant applicants. Major Events Grant applications will be required to submit an event budget and a marketing plan to be considered for grant funding. You can use your own, or follow our templates for Event Budget(XLS, 42KB) and Marketing Plan(PDF, 682KB). The application form is only available during the dates specified above.
