Sports venues

We have 21 different sports venues to choose from including 2 indoor stadiums.

Play Spaces

We have 69 play spaces scattered across our region, offering diverse play features that caters for all ages and abilities.

Parks and Reserves

Explore our beautiful natural places.

Skate Spaces

Council maintains 6 skate spaces in our region, the newest being the Lake Cathie Skate Space near the Foreshore Reserve.

Walking trails

Whether it’s enjoying the spectacular vistas or burning off some of those unwanted indulgences, our region has some of the best walking trails available.

Beaches and public pools

Patrolled beaches, 4WD beach permits and public pools

Boat ramps & jetties

Our region, with its unique coastline and river access is well suited to a range of boating and fishing activities.

Outdoor gyms

Information on the outdoor gym equipment that is available for public use at various reserves within our region.

Weekly urban mowing schedule

Our mowing team maintains more than 385 open space areas across our region including parks, reserves, sports fields, cemeteries, buffer zones, natural areas and roadsides.
