Ordinary Council meetings are held monthly, on the third Thursday, from 2pm.
Most meetings are held at the Port Macquarie chambers on the corner of Lord and Burrawan streets.
All members of the community are welcome to attend or watch the livestream on our website here.

Occasionally Council holds extraordinary meetings. These are extra Council meetings held outside the normal meeting cycle, most often to consider matters of an urgent nature.
Extraordinary Council meeting agendas are tabled as normal. Agendas will become available shortly after extraordinary meetings are called.
As required by our Code of Meeting Practice(PDF, 431KB), Council Meetings are livestreamed and made publicly available on Council's website. Your attendance at a Council Meeting is taken by Council as agreement to be included in any livestream. If a member of the public does not agree to being livestreamed, you may choose to leave the Council Meeting.
Meeting agendas are available a few days in advance, and you can also view meeting minutes and documents tabled a few days after the Council meeting.
Our community are invited to speak at a Council meeting to address an agenda item or to address a matter not on the agenda.
