Inspection bookings

When undertaking building, subdivision or drainage works inspections are required by the Principal Certifying Authority (PCA) or Regulator to ensure construction meets the regulatory requirements.

To book your inspection

Step 1.Understand what's required

There are a number of mandatory inspections that must be carried out by the Principal Certifier for building or plumbing works. If critical stage inspections are missed/not undertaken, the Principal Certifier may not be able to issue an Occupation Certificate.

The mandatory inspections that are required for your development, will be listed in the Principal Certifier Agreement. Please ensure that you read the Principal Certifier Agreement carefully to ensure you understand what inspections are required.

The Principal Certifier may request additional inspections, in addition to those listed in the Principal Certifier Agreement.

If it has been identified that your development requires CCTV inspection of the sewer mains, this must be completed first. To request a CCTV inspection, complete the online booking form
