Fisherman's Public Wharf

Fisherman's Public Wharf

Fisherman's Wharf is a publicly accessible wharf, and a popular fishing spot. The wharf is commonly used to accommodate commercial users, as a jetty unloading space, as well as local Water Police, Marine Rescue and Customs operations.

The wharf links to a boardwalk, continuing south along the foreshore, and connecting to the Kooloonbung Creek bridge.

There are toilets and picnic tables on the river nearby, adjacent to the Port Macquarie Cruise Terminal.

This facility has been created to replace the original Hastings River fishermen's co-operative which was demolished in October 2016.
