The Code of Conduct sets the minimum standards of conduct for Council officials. It is prescribed by regulation to assist Council officials to understand and comply with the standards of conduct that are expected of them enable them to fulfil their statutory duty to act honestly and exercise a reasonable degree of care and diligence and act in a way that enhances public confidence in local government.
The current and most recent previous version of our Code of Conduct is considered open access information under the Government Information (Public Access) Regulation 2018. The most recent previous version of the Code of Conduct can be requested free of charge by emailing council@pmhc.nsw.gov.au.
Councillor conduct complaints
Complaints relating to the performance and conduct of Councillors is managed by the Office of the CEO. All correspondence relating to a Code of Conduct Complaint is to be address to the Chief Executive Officer.
