The pedestrian pathway from the base of the Buller St/Hollingworth St footbridge, along Kooloonbung Creek, to the end of the Comfort Resort Waters Edge property is being upgraded. The area will see improved recreational access to the foreshore with the addition of a jetty, canoe ramp and pavement surface upgrades.
Additional bollard and pole lighting to the area will see public safety improvements. The amenity to the area will be enhanced by grassed spaces, plant beds and bench seating to be enjoyed by the community. The site improvements will improve accessibility, usability and vista along the foreshore.
As an active work site surrounding areas will experience noise, onsite transport movement and dust.

There will be limited car parking available within the Hollingworth Street carpark. Approximately 12 car spaces will be available during construction and parking will only be permitted in authorised parking spaces.
