Work experience placements

We offer unpaid work placements for tertiary and university students to build real-world skills and gain experience in their field of study. 

To be eligible you must be currently undertaking a course of study and the work placement requested must be related to and be an essential requirement of the course of study. 

Placements are available across a range of areas, including: 

  • Glasshouse – front or back of house
  • Electrical or mechanical trades
  • Animal care at the shelter
  • Digital technology
  • Administration
  • Business and finance 
  • Environmental services
  • Project management
  • Human Resources 
  • Engineering

All requests will be reviewed and we will endeavour to meet all work experience placements requests, but all offers are dependent on current resources and staff availability to accommodate the placement.
