Adam is a long-time local, having moved to Port Macquarie with his family in 1986 and has since owned and operated multiple small business in the region.
Adam is a multiple internationally awarded cookbook author of "Ribs", "Barbecue Like A Boss" and "Barbecue Fusion" and has won more than 30 national or international cooking trophies for his efforts competing against some of the best barbecue Pitmasters in Australia and New Zealand.
Adam continues to create education projects to teach people how to cook over wood fire using smokers or grills and won an international gold medal for Writing, Directing and producing the documentary series "Beyond the Flame".
The success of the "Beyond the Flame" series has provided many opportunities for Adam to travel the world but also led to an opportunity to collaborate with TAFE NSW to become the first Australian Pitmaster to provide a Certificate (NNR) TAFE NSW course on the subject of "Pitmastery."
Adam balances his time as being the Mayor with his barbeque industry education projects and also being a father and husband to his wife Kristy and children, Jackson and Paige.
