The Wauchope Show is a long‑standing and much‑loved community event, celebrating local tradition, agriculture, family entertainment, and community spirit. The 2026 show will feature returning crowd favourites, new attractions being added regularly, and the continuation of our popular Young Woman Competition, with applications now open.

All Your Favourites—Plus More to Come

From the moment the gates open, the showground will be buzzing with colour, energy and excitement. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of thrilling rides, classic showbags, and plenty of family‑friendly entertainment throughout the day.

As night falls, the skies above Wauchope will once again light up with the much‑loved fireworks display, a highlight for many families.

Returning favourites include Reptile Solutions, offering interactive animal encounters, and the hugely popular Dinkum Dinosaurs, delighting children and adults alike.

 

Young Woman Competition – Applications Now Open

A proud and long‑standing tradition of the Wauchope Show, the Young Woman Competition will return in 2026, offering young women the chance to grow, connect and represent their community.

Applications are NOW OPEN and will close on
Friday 13 March 2026.

This opportunity is open to young women aged 14–17 and 18–25 who are interested in:

  • Stepping outside their comfort zone
  • Personal and professional development
  • Building confidence and leadership skills
  • Networking within the local community
  • Experiencing the behind‑the‑scenes world of the Wauchope Show

Participants become part of a rich history and tradition that celebrates community involvement, personal growth and lifelong friendships.
