Work has commenced on Stage One of the Foreshore Reserve Master plan (excluding the skate park). The work will be staged starting with the installation of the new amenities to minimise impact on reserve users.
Stage One works include installation of an accessible amenities, demolition of the existing amenities, new wider concrete pathways, park furniture and tree planting. These works are funded by NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet through Round 2 of the Stronger Country Communities Fund.
A contribution toward the skate park has been included in the 2019/20 draft operational plan. It is expected the remainder of the funding will be sourced through grant applications.
