Injured wildife

If you find distressed or injured wildlife contact F.A.W.N.A. (For Australia Wildlife Needing Aid) on (02) 6581 4141. Do not approach the animal. Listen to the instructions provided by F.A.W.N.A.

If you find dead wildlife then JR Richards will remove the animals. The contact number is 1300 787 223.

The Hastings region has a big Koala population and often our Koalas can be hit by cars or attacked by domestic animals.
If you find an injured, distressed or dead Koala please contact The Koala Hospital on (02) 6584 1522.

The Koala Hospital is located at Macquarie Nature Reserve, Lord St, Port Macquarie NSW 2444

Removing snakes or reptiles from your home. 

If you find a snake or reptile on your property, you can call FAWNA to remove the animal. FAWNA does not charge for reptile removals from houses and buildings however, as a volunteer organisation, a small amount contribution offered to our rescuer to cover the volunteers fuel costs is appreciated.
