Oil - cooking

Cooking oil should be disposed of correctly. It can be dropped off for free at a waste facility

Motor oil should be disposed of correctly. It can be dropped off for free at a waste facility

Oyster shells

Place in red bin.

Oyster shells are difficult to break down within the compost facility cycle – so we prefer them to go into the red bin, or you can bury in your yard. Meat bones and other shellfish such as prawn shells are ok in the green bin.
