Hessian bags

Hessian bags can be placed in the red bin or composted at home (though it will take some time to decompose) as long as non-natural attachments such as plastic linings are removed first.

Household hazardous waste & cleaning products

Hazardous materials and liquids must not be placed in domestic bins as they are considered dangerous to residents, waste collectors, landfill staff and the environment.

Safely store these at home until an EPA Household Chemical Cleanout event - Household Chemical CleanOut (nsw.gov.au)
