The Stuart Park Regional Sporting Precinct features multi-usage sports fields for rugby league, rugby union, touch football and Oz Tag. It also features a synthetic cricket wicket, a synthetic basketball court, and track and field facilities for Little Athletics. It’s adjacent to an all-abillities children’s playground, a BBQ area, as well as an off-leash dog park.
Adjacent to the Stuart Park sports fields and the Port Macquarie tennis courts, the Wood Street Sports Fields are mainly used for cricket, rugby league, rugby union and touch football. Another sport played at Wood Street is Petanque. Petanque is played on a court called a Piste, this is the gravel area adjacent to the playground.
