Town Green Park is the grassy area encompassing the space between the boat ramp at Short Street along to the wharf area at the river end of Horton Street and down to the breakwall near Sundowner Caravan Park.
This space is very popular for celebrations, markets, festivals, concerts and moonlight movies, as it provides large open flat space in a picturesque setting right against the Hastings River. There are picnic tables dotted along the river front, a children's playground, boat ramp to the river, toilet amenities and plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from.
It is locally known as the Town Green. This area or parts of it can be booked for public events.
