ArtWalk is an edgy, intense and surprising night of discovery. Past year’s events have attracted thousands of people, illuminating secret, unassuming and unexpected spaces with free pop up performances, markets, artistic interventions and creative installations.

The Port Macquarie CBD, its streets, intersections, cafes and cultural facilities become the stage for contemporary works as artists push the boundaries of their practice. Experience the ArtWalk night and participate in other creative satellite events throughout the weekend.

ArtWalk encourages the community to come together in a series of engaging arts activities, creating opportunities for people to meet, exchange ideas and foster community spirit. The ArtWalk main event will return to Port’s CBD as a fabulous evening program of open-air, outdoor activations featuring live performances, music, digital content and lighting installations to be discovered.

How can you get involved?

• ArtWalk is seeking further Expressions of Interest for original, creative content for short, live performances, as well as digital content/projections at outdoor public spaces.
• Local artists are encouraged to approach a Port Macquarie CBD business about using a shop front for display/installations for the evening of the main event on Friday 10 June 2022.
• Planning a creative event, workshop or activity running over the June long weekend? Let us know so we can feature you on our ArtWalk 2022 Satellite Events web page!
• Are you a local business or venue? Maximise exposure and offerings on the main event night with the 15,000 ArtWalk visitors to the CBD.
