Celebrating 10 Years of Friends of Mrs York's Garden

The Event is to acknowledge the achievements of the "Friends" over the past 10 years, with collaborations & partnerships with many Community. The Community, along with special guest Costa from Gardening Australia, will celebrate what this popular iconic headland space now has to offer in stunning views, beautiful native gardens & attractive , safe structures for exercise, relaxation & solace.

The Event will include:+Guided garden tours & native plants for sale + workshops on propagation, native bees, sustainability, bush tucker, koala conservation +Live music & entertainment including Birpai choir & dance, Bands, Blokes Notes, The Fridge Magnets, Khristina, Alison & others +Refreshments (BBQ & cold drinks, Cakes, slices, savoury, MSD Food & Drink van) & celebratory cake +Trade Table crafts & memorabilia +Arts (Photography comp, Cooee Sistas Charcoal drawing, Public Art mosaic +Kids activities & face painting with Karen & Bunnings +Community groups & services including Dementia Friendly, Kirinari Aged Services, Home Hospice, Rotary Sunrise , Land Care, Douglas Vale, Lost Plot, Girl Guides, Regional Bank +Super Raffle $5 ea or 3 for $10 +Costa with Meet & Greet, book signing, presentation . Commences 9am with official opening at 10 am.
