Paste-up gallery

A new temporary exhibition space was launched on Friday 10 June at the Port Macquarie Coach Terminal.

The first exhibition is by a group of artists who created the exhibition of paste-up posters based on their paintings inspired by bila (the river). The group support each other through their sharing of cultural knowledge and Gathang language, and through their respect for each other. It will remain on display until 2 September 2022.

Congratulations to Lesley Fuller, Sonia Shields, Kate Fuller, Corina Latimore, Chris Donovan, Wayne Anderson and Angela Roberts.

Local creatives and groups are again invited to apply for the opportunity to present their work in this unique format.

The internal walls of the Terminal will be transformed into a pop-up gallery, with A1 posters applied via a paste-up method. Artworks will be exhibited from 16 September 2022 to 9 December 2022.

The exhibition will be free and accessible to everyone, making this an excellent opportunity for creatives with little to no experience in exhibiting, to share their work and make a name for themselves locally. Group submissions will also be considered.

Expressions of interest have now closed, successful applicants will be notified the week of 22 August, 2022.
