ArtWalk 2024

Less than a week until ArtWalk 2024 and we are going Coastal!

Join us on Friday 7 June 2024 from 5.00pm - 9.00pm for ArtWalk, an evening like no other, celebrating our incredible creative community and our beautiful region!

During ArtWalk, the streets of Port Macquarie come alive with a variety of artworks displayed in galleries, shops, and public spaces. Visitors can enjoy a diverse range of art, including painting, sculpture, photography, live performances, exhibitions, illuminations, artist markets, creative installations, and more. They can also interact with artists, attend workshops and talks, and participate in various art-related activities.

ArtWalk is not just an event for art lovers, but also for those who appreciate the culture, history, and creativity of Port Macquarie. It is a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the town's creative spirit, connect with local artists, and support the growth of the local arts scene.

Whether you are a seasoned art collector or a first-time visitor, come and experience the magic of Port Macquarie's art scene, and let it inspire and captivate you.

As this is always a popular event and we want as many people to experience it as possible, please consider your travel to the event. It is recommended that attendees consider public transport options as parking will be at a premium throughout the night.

There are several road closures which will be put in place from 10am until 11pm Friday, 7 June, including Clarence Street West (Blue Cow End), Short Street waterside car park and Market Square. 

There will be a free shuttle bus service to the Port CBD. Pick-up and drop-off will be from Westport Marina/Westport Carpark (bus stop outside Little Turkey) between 4:30pm to 9:30pm. Buses are accessible and will run on a loop. 

For those who will be driving, please plan ahead. Port Central doors will remain open until 9:30pm for access to the carpark. After this time, access will be via the carpark ramp off Murray Street.
