Reopening services with lift of stay at home orders
Following the NSW Health announcement to lift stay-at-home orders in our LGA from 11:59pm tonight, we’re reopening select services from tomorrow, Wednesday 6 October.
Our customer service centres will reopen, with the Port Macquarie office open from Mon - Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm, and the Laurieton and Wauchope offices open from Mon-Fri 9am-4pm. At this stage, development consultations will still be held over the phone, call our team on on 6581 8111, or email email@example.com to set an appointment.
Port Macquarie, Laurieton and Wauchope libraries are open with social distancing restrictions, and mandatory mask wearing. Click & Collect is still available for residents as well.
The Glasshouse will also open their doors to the Gallery and the Visitor Information Centre.
Community halls will be open under social distancing restrictions - maximum numbers will be capped at 1 person per 4 sq metres, except for exercise classes which can have a maximum of 20 people. Users of the halls will need to submit a COVID safety plan upon hiring.
Indoor sport stadiums, sports fields, and swimming pools will be open for individual physical activity, but closed to sporting clubs and associations for group training and competitions.
We are asking residents to follow the advice of NSW Health when visiting our facilities, and to please avoid visiting if you are feeling unwell to keep each other, and our staff safe.
