Council Meeting Comes to Laurieton
This month, residents are invited to attend Port Macquarie-Hastings Council’s Ordinary Meeting in Laurieton.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday 16 October starting at 5:30pm at the Laurieton School of Arts Hall, corner of Bold and Laurie Street.
As part of the ‘Taking Council to the Community’ program, changing the venue for Council Meetings provides greater opportunity for the community to attend, and increases engagement around Council’s decision-making processes.
The agenda for the meeting will be available on Council’s website pmhc.nsw.gov.au/councilmeetings from Friday 11 October, or can be viewed from Monday 14 October at Council offices and Libraries.
Community members can also address Council on agenda items, or in the Public Forum for items not listed on the formal agenda. Those who wish to address Council will be required to complete and submit the appropriate forms no later than 4:30pm on Tuesday 15 October.
Forms are also available on Council’s website, at Customer Service Centres or by phoning 6581 8111 and a customer service assistant can complete the form over the phone with you.
