Sports Field lighting

If your club requires lighting while using our sports fields, please complete the online application form below for the use of our sports field illuminator lighting system.

Sports field lighting is intended to provide access and opportunity for you to train and/or play night fixtures. It is incumbent on the user group to check with Councils Sport and Recreation Officer on the lighting coverage prior to commencing any night time activities. Facilities with lights will generally have lights providing illumination for large ball sports. Sports field lighting is a user pays system.

Please note:

  • Clubs/Associations will be responsible to cover costs incurred by operating lights.
  • Clubs are required to submit a request for lighting annually via the form below.
  • Should floodlight globes or fixtures fail to work, or require refocussing, please contact Council's Sport & Recreation Officer to arrange repairs.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE**

PS3 keys are still required to access the manual lighting switches and carry out an override of the system at Lank Bain Sporting Complex

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused in this matter. Should your club experience any issues with activating sports field lighting please contact Council’s on-call Parks Coordinator on (02) 6583 2225.
