Port Macquarie-Hastings Council owns and maintains community halls throughout the region, and these are available for hire by the community. If you are looking for somewhere to host your next event why not consider your local community hall? You can use the handy map below to find one near you.

Community Centre and Hall Bookings

COVID-19 Update 20 July 2021 - Community Centre and Halls are currently closed to new bookings. They will remain open to regular hirers who are running small businesses in accordance with Public Health Orders. All bookings must be confirmed with the relevant Booking Officer for the venue. You will also be required to submit to the Booking Officer a COVID-19 plan of your activity, which forms part of the hire agreement documentation.

We urge you to continue to stay safe and vigilant with social distancing and hygiene measures in line with Government guidance. The NSW Government provide further information regarding what you can and can’t do under the rules.

The current restrictions for all hall users are:

  • You MUST wear a fitted face mask when you are indoors.
  • The one person per 4 square metre rule MUST be followed
  • 20-person limit applies to classes or activities (dancing/yoga)
  • Everyone entering the building MUST scan in using the QR Code on the door (If you don’t have a smart phone that allows you to use the QR Code system, you can either ask another member to check you in as a dependent in the Service NSW app)

The following Council venues are available for meetings and function room hire. A number of venues are suitable for sports and cultural entertainment purposes.
