Port Macquarie Airport

Port Macquarie regional Airport

Responding to COVID-19

Port Macquarie Airport remains open, however, only passengers holding boarding passes should pass through security screening into the departure lounge to assist with social distancing guidelines. Passengers should contact their airline for up to date information on flight schedules.
Anyone arriving from an international airport must self-quarantine for a period of 14 days, as per the advice from the Australian Government Department of Health. Biggles Flight Lounge Cafe and Bar is closed, as per the Australian Government's directive.

Port Macquarie Airport is owned and operated by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council. The Airport is operated as a commercial business unit of Council, and is self-funded by revenue received from airport operations.

Council’s role as the aerodrome operator is to ensure that the Airport operates in accordance with Australian Government safety and security regulations.

Council is also responsible for ensuring that the Airport is able to cater for forecast growth in air services to underpin our region’s growth, economic development and tourism potential.
