Australia Day

Little Kid and Aussie Flags on Beach

Australia Day is a day for all Australians, no matter where our personal stories began. It’s the day to celebrate our diversity and the values that we share as the Australian community. In collaboration with local community groups, we celebrate Australia Day, 26 January, in Camden Haven, Wauchope and Port Macquarie with citizenship ceremonies and activities for all to enjoy.

Nominate someone you admire for the 2021 Australian of the year awards

Be one of greatest Australians by giving our nation's best the recognition they deserve.

There are plenty of deserving Australians who are making our nation proud, whether it be through their efforts during the bushfires or the Coronavirus crisis. Of course, you may have a special person already in mind for a nomination - so please, be the one who takes that vital step of putting their name forward at Australian of the Year.

Nominations close 31 July 2020 for the 2021 Australian of the Year Awards.

Nominations for the 2021 PMHC Australia Day Awards will open in September 2020 with online registrations via Council's website until the end of November 2020.
