Lake Cathie Community Plan

Lake Cathie Aerial Image

The Lake Cathie community kicks off Tranche 2 of the Community Planning process in 2019. A postcard survey will be circulating from April 12 seeking feedback from residents on the future of Lake Cathie, followed by two community Think Tank workshops to:

  • Tell us what they like about their community;
  • Draft a vision for the community;
  • Identify key themes for their community and
  • Identify actions that they would like to see delivered in the next 3-5 years

There are a number of ways that you can have a say in how your community develops in the future:

  1. Complete the survey on our Have Your Say webpage
  2. Contribute Your Ideas at Our Community Think Tanks

We will be holding two community Think Tanks where together we will be developing a vision for your community and identifying the key priorities that you would like to see happen within your community over the next 3-5 years.

Please join us:

Think Tank 1
When: 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Thursday May 9, 2019
Where: Lake Cathie Community Hall, 34 Mullaway Road, Lake Cathie

Think Tank 2
When: 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Thursday May 23, 2019
Where: Lake Cathie Community Hall, 34 Mullaway Road Lake Cathie

To RSVP for either of the Think Tank sessions, please email communityplans@pmhc.nsw.gov.au with your name and the number of people attending.

Following the Think Tank workshops, a Community-Council Action Team (C-CAT) for the local community will be established who will work together to draft a Community Plan, including an Action Plan for your area. This Plan will then go out to the community for further input and feedback before being endorsed by Council.

 If you would like to shape the future direction of your community, consider becoming a member of the Lake Cathie C-Cat. Find out more and complete a nomination form.
