Take control of your next chapter - a webinar with Jackie French

 Jackie French

Spend an hour with Jackie as she shares insights from her own life story and the creative ways her local community is taking control after the devastating South Coast bushfires and universal impacts of COVID.  The diverse stories told by Jackie are guaranteed to get you thinking outside the box and spark ideas about how you can work in the local economy, create jobs for others or unearth self-sufficiency in terms of creating your own business income opportunities

Jackie French has been an echidna milker, sugar packer, museum researcher, cook, chambermaid, farmer, cook (again), author, historian, gardening writer, TV presenter, Australian Children's Laureate, honorary wombat (part time), dyslexic, and Senior Australian of the Year. Some of her books sold millions of copies and won awards in Australia and overseas. Others won more silverfish than readers. In the 55 years since her parents lied about her age so she could work full time she has adapted to whatever has been necessary to earn a living. She is also an historian, who studies the patterns of the past to learn how we can make the very best of our present and our future.
