We want to ensure businesses and industry in our region can develop, innovate and grow. We have a team available to support local businesses and there are many other support services available within the community and more broadly, as well as online.

Local support for business

  • Local Business Networking Groups
    There are many groups within the region to connect local business owners and provide networking opportunities.
  • Business Connect
    A subsidised NSW government program providing advice, support and mentoring to small business owners. Webinars and online workshops also available.
  • Aboriginal Business Advisory Initiative
    A government funded program providing advice, support and referral services for Aboriginal people considering starting up their own business or expanding their current business.
  • Edmund Barton Centre
    Access business mentoring locally as well as programs such as their Start Up Business Development Program, Key Business Enhancement Program, Inspire Program and the Apprentice to Business Owner Program.
  • Regional Development Australia Mid North Coast
    An advocacy group linking all levels of government, industry and our community, and supporting economic development in the region.
  • Service NSW Business Concierge
    Provides one-on-one guidance to plan and run a small business.
