Does your business or community group have a COVID-19 Safety Plan, or do you know if you need one? Do you know what the current COVID restrictions for businesses are?
In the last month there have been many changes to the COVID-19 requirements and restrictions, which has led to some confusion with what is allowed, and what businesses and community groups need to do to open or run their events.
COVID-19 Safety Plans are a requirement under the current Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order (No.4) 2020 for most businesses, to reduce their risk of spreading COVID -19 in the community. We’re holding a ZOOM webinar on Tuesday 28 July at 2:00pm or Wednesday 29 July at 5:30pm to offer advice on where to get the plan templates, how to create your plan, and what restrictions are currently in force.
An Environmental Health Staff member from our local Public Health Unit (NSW Health) will be available for questions and advice where they can.
While Council is not the enforcement agency for the Public Health Orders, we endeavour to educate and support our local businesses to ensure COVID safety measures are in place and that you are able to remain open.
If you are interested in attending, please complete the registration form below and the ZOOM connection details will be emailed to you.
