Council is working to develop a new sporting complex that will not only cater for existing sporting needs but offers opportunity to grow our future sporting tourism by attracting new regional and state events.

Telegraph Point residents, including local school children will soon be able to walk, ride and run more safely between key village locations with work now underway on a range of pedestrian upgrades.

Information gathered is now being incorporated into the relevant design and environment impact documentation prior to calling for tenders to provide sewerage to residential properties in the three villages.

Wauchope is one of the region’s most important gateways and an upgrade to the CBD of Wauchope, while still maintaining the main street’s character is of the highest priority for Council.
