Shelly Beach Amenities Upgrade

Council has demolished the old amenities block in the Shelly Beach Reserve and replaced it with new and improved facilities.
Coastal Walk

The Port Macquarie Coastal Walk is a 9.1km walking track that takes you from Westport Park along the beautiful Hastings River, continuing along the coastline to the Tacking Point Lighthouse.
Kooloonbung Creek Nature Park Arboretum upgrade

Located next to the Historic Cemetery, this will become a hub of activity through the creation of an inter-generational community play space including picnic and BBQ facilities and giant water lizard sculpture.
Camden Haven Boating Facilities

Bruce Porter Reserve in Laurieton and the boat ramp at Dunbogan Reserve will each benefit from the installation of floating pontoons and improvements to boating facilities in 2018.
Rocks Ferry Reserve Boat Ramp Floating Pontoon

Council is committed to building a new pontoon to improve boat launch and retrieval capacity, increase accessibility to the water way and provide safer use of the boat ramp facilities.
Lake Cathie Wheelchair Friendly Fishing Platform

Council has received a grant from the NSW Department Primary Industries Recreational Fishing Trust which is to design and build a wheelchair friendly fishing platform at Lake Cathie.
Town Green / Town Square Development

The project will see the construction of a new Town Square (at the northern end of Horton St) and Stage 1 of an upgrade to the Town Green to ensure these spaces meet future community needs.
Rocks Ferry Revetment Wall Construction

Council will undertake approximately 50m of rock revetment works along the Hastings River at Rocks Ferry Reserve. This work will help protect the embankment from future flood events.
Kooloonbung Creek Foreshore Upgrades

Residents and visitors are set to benefit from safety and pedestrian accessibility upgrades to the Kooloonbung Creek/Town Centre foreshore in Port Macquarie with work to rejuvenate the area commencing on Monday 10 December.
