Re-development of the Town Beach Marine Rescue & Kiosk Building in Port Macquarie was completed in 2016.
The previous structure was almost 50 years old and in a state of gradual deterioration as a result of concrete cancer and exposure to corrosive salt and extreme weather.
The visually appealing building is an important step forward in providing vastly improved public amenities, a kiosk for the popular Town Beach area, and provides our Marine Rescue volunteers with modern, updated facilities from which to conduct their operations.
Marine Rescue has now completed the internal fit out of the upgraded facility and is fully operational within the building.
