Coastal Walk - Completed sections

Flynns Beach

The Coastal Walk is a 9km scenic walking trail that travels from Westport Park, through the Port Macquarie CBD to Tacking Point Lighthouse. It is an important and much loved asset for both visitors and the Port Macquarie-Hastings community.

A  Coastal Walk Master Plan48MB pdf(PDF, 48MB) was developed based on input from the community and aligns with other sections of the Coastal Walk that have already been planned and adopted by Council, including the Foreshore Walk, Town Beach and Tacking Point Master Plans.

Council allocated a total budget of $997,000 for upgrades in accordance with the Coastal Walk Masterplan. Together with Restart NSW Government funding of $765,000 under the Regional Growth – Environment and Tourism Fund, the total budget for the project is $1.762 million.
