Justin Levido moved to Port Macquarie in 1987 from Cessnock in the Hunter Valley.
A Lawyer by profession, Justin is the Principal of Levido Law + Property of Port Macquarie. Justin focuses his personal practice in property, development, business, commercial, environmental, local government and elder law.
Justin was an active member of the Port Macquarie Apex Club and a past President. He is a Foundation Member and past President of the Rotary Club of Port Macquarie Sunrise.
Justin was elected to Port Macquarie-Hastings Council in September 2012.
Justin chairs Council’s Major Projects Portfolio and is the alternate chair for Council’s Water, Stormwater, Sewer and Waste Portfolio. Justin also chairs Council’s Airport Advisory Group, the Villages Sewerage Scheme Steering Group and the Regional Transport Infrastructure Steering Group.
Justin believes that Council’s role is to improve the quality of life and living conditions of all residents of the Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Government Area. Justin also believes that the funding model for Local Government in New South Wales is “broken” and the development of an alternate model with the Federal and NSW State Governments is an urgent priority for sustainable and effective and Local Government.
