There are a number of community halls throughout the region available to use by the community. Volunteer management committees manage these facilities on Council's behalf. If you are interested in hiring one of these halls for an event or function you can make a booking directly with the management committee responsible for that hall.
If you are interested in using any of our community halls for recreational purposes, you can lodge an enquiry online with Port Macquarie-Hastings Council to book an available hall. (Please read and follow the instructions on the first page of the link.)
Commercial retail activities in these halls are not permitted. Alcohol is also not permitted unless there is written permission from the management committee. All functions/bookings must adhere to the terms and conditions of hire.
Other non-Council owned facilities such as scout halls, school halls and church halls are available for hire and are subject to direct negotiation with the organisation responsible for the facility.
