Community gardens provide a wide range of benefits to members and volunteers including social connections, access to healthy food, education and skills, physical activity, sustainable living and community strengthening. They are places for sharing food, knowledge, and skills.
Port Macquarie Community Garden
This community garden (affectionately known as 'The Lost Plot') is located on Central Rd, adjacent to Lifeline. It is a wonderful north-facing space with easy access to public transport and parking availability. You can find a map below with the location of the garden.
The community garden is managed by Port Macquarie Community Garden Inc. You can find out more about the garden at www.thelostplot.org.au, which is also a contact point for Port Macquarie Community Gardens Inc. There is also an active Facebook community and a community gardens brochure available below.
