Community Grants: 2017-2018 Round 2 recipients

A total of $69,412 has been allocated to the following organisations in Round 2 of the Community Grants Program for 2017/2018. 

Each grant category has been listed below with the recipient's name and amount received. 

General:

  • Wauchope Patchwork Quilters Incorporated received $2,695 for a Defibrillator

  • Laurieton Men's Shed received $8,789 for a car hoist

  • Port Macquarie Women's Shed received $6,000 for tools and storage

  •  Telegraph Point Community Association received $3,801 for IT Equipment

  • Hollisdale Rural Fire Brigade received $10,000 for a Shed Extension

  • Comboyne Community Association received $10,000 for Restumping Museum

  • Energy Forever received $5,846 for a Birpai Solar Project

  • Port Macquarie JP’s received $7,484 for office resources

Placemaking:

  •  Creek to Creek received $3,297 for seating and shelter

Bicentenary:

  • Douglas Vale Conservation Group for received $500 Bicentenary Drama
  • Bonny Hills Progress Assoc. received $4,000 for a Community Event
  • Hastings District Flying Club received $2,500 for a Historical Book
  • Port Macquarie & District Family History Group received $2,000 for a Historical Book
  • Tacking Point SLC received $2,000 for a Historical Book
